and private acquisition inquiries.
Current collector releases focus on the Adversarial and SONA image systems.
Adversarial
Adversarial is a perceptual image system constructed through directional line fields that operate at the threshold of facial recognition.
Rather than depicting portraits, the works activate recognition itself as a visual event. Faces emerge temporarily through interference between signal and structure, engaging the viewer’s associative memory while resisting stable machine interpretation.
The series invites viewers to consider facial recognition not as a neutral visual function, but as a highly evolved human capacity shaped by memory, speed, association, and survival.
Each work is identified through a structural code, reflecting its role within an evolving perceptual system.
The series operates as an open perceptual archive rather than a fixed set of portraits.
SONA
SONA is a portrait system in which identity emerges through silhouette, reduction, and perceptual completion.
While frontal faces typically require multiple descriptive elements—eyes, nose, mouth, and facial geometry—profile silhouettes remain sufficient for recognition through contour and a small number of cues. Building on this condition, the series investigates how identity can persist even when visual information is significantly reduced.
In contrast to the increasingly amplified visual signals of contemporary avatar culture, SONA proposes a quieter model of identity structured through reduction rather than exaggeration. Through silhouette, the works examine how minimal form can remain a stable carrier of individuality across media environments and decentralized identity systems.
Selected works from SONA are released as part of an evolving portrait structure in which each variation operates within a larger system of identity reduction rather than as an isolated character image.
While Adversarial examines the instability of facial recognition at its threshold, SONA explores how identity remains recognizable even after visual information is reduced to silhouette.
